Recycling & upcycling waste to create beautiful decorative products is one of the most fun ways to live mindfully. One such workshop here is about a unique way of reusing your textile waste and upcycling it through tapestry weaving. Explore different waste materials in weaving a chance to create recycled art.
In ‘Knot Wasted’, we learn the basics of frame-loom weaving while repurposing scrap materials into a unique Tapestry – an ancient form of weaving, more like ‘painting with fibre’.

About the Artist: Ashita Singhal is a weaver, textile artist, and social entrepreneur. She believes in working with limited resources and local materials. Born and brought up in Delhi, one of India’s most polluted cities, she started to see waste as a resource and a material for her design explorations.
