“To capture the beauty of the ‘handmade’, this workshop ensures that you get a chance to co-create with the humble ‘mitti’ clay and experience the refreshing art of pottery & the satisfying art of modelling clay. The beauty of pottery lies in the love that the artisan puts into it. A workshop that metaphorically teaches about nurturing as you delicately give shape to your art piece. Therapeutic and enriching, learn slab building techniques and explore pottery without the wheel. What’s more? Take your self-curated ‘work of art’ as a memoir with you. Note: All the material will be provided by us.
About the Artist: Initially a management graduate, Divya Dandona, out of sheer love for art & design, explored pottery one day and never looked back. She learnt pottery at the Delhi Blue-Sanskriti Ceramic Centre under the guidance of Arun Mukhuty from 2007- 2011. Been part of multiple group exhibitions in, she now runs her own Studio in Gurgaon- Studio 694 and takes clay-modelling sessions and corporate workshops for children as well as adults.”
